# 240SX WINDOWMASK preview classification · r364

The source texture-name audit identifies material hash `0x3ed70c43` as `WINDOWMASK`. The current stock 240SX selection contains three active base slices with that hash (`BASE_A_0` slices 5, 8, and 10). The garage exporter previously assigned these untextured slices to `paint_body`, which routed them through the player paint and clearcoat shader.

`tools/export_nfsu2_car.py` now classifies that hash as `glass_vehicle` with the existing dark glass fallback. The viewer consequently applies its existing glass blend and reflection path. The source-textured named `REAR_DEFROSTER` batches are injected separately, so they keep their own material and remain visible above the rear pane.

The review capture at `webgl-city/review/images/511-r364-windowmask-glass-review.png` shows the packaged 240SX after the change. The windows still appear very dark in this rear view. This is a material-role correction, not recovery of retail glass settings: the viewer still uses its 0.76 non-windshield preview opacity and approximate glass response. The original runtime blend state and per-pane material parameters remain unverified.
