# Small steering response increase · r455

The viewer's normal full-lock steering tune increased from a 1.1 to a 1.2
rad/s yaw cap and from 10.5 to 11.5 m/s² turn-acceleration cap. These are
playability estimates; they are not recovered retail physics constants. The
explicit handbrake limits remain unchanged.

A host Chrome/WebGL2 drive capture started on L4RA Route 450 at distance 525.
After 1.3 seconds of throttle and 0.45 seconds of left steering, the debug
heading changed from 2.1561 to 2.6114 radians (26.1 degrees). The final pose
was still supported by the authored `RDP_LANEA_YS_AA_KT` road material. No road
failure or building-collision state was reported, and the page emitted no
browser errors. This is a short control check, not a full turn-circle or retail
handling match.

A separate live HUD readback after a 2-second throttle hold and 0.9-second
coast reported `player.speed = 3.0284` world units/s, `#speed-number = 7`, and
`#rpm-number = 972 RPM`; the speed display agrees with the viewer conversion
(3.0284 × 2.23694 rounds to 7 mph). The engine debug state selected first gear
and the page reported “City scene ready” with no console or page errors.
