# Short Route 450 drive and steering review (r287)

The packaged Chrome page at `?debug&route=450&distance=510&radius=120` was
loaded at rest with the 240SX and a ready L4RA scene. One controlled input
sequence held W for 2.2 seconds, then W+A for 0.7 seconds, then released both
keys and waited one second before the capture.

The debug pose moved from `(-856.7087, -455.2589)` to
`(-869.4614, -440.2809)`, about 19.7 world units. Heading changed from
`2.17614` to `2.35648` radians (about 10.3 degrees); speed at the capture was
`7.49 m/s` (16.8 mph). Visually the car finished over the double-yellow
center marking. The current viewer's movement model therefore still fails
this short steering sample's lane-centering expectation even though the road
query did not stop the car.

This is a viewer observation, not a retail handling measurement. The direct
yaw model has no lateral velocity or tire-force state. The executable trace
has not yet linked the free-roam player's steering response and wheel forces
to the final chassis movement, so the capture does not justify a numeric yaw
retune. See [`webgl-driving-gap.md`](webgl-driving-gap.md) for the remaining
source-backed questions and XP capture procedure. The screenshot is in the
[visual review feed](../webgl-city/review/index.html#r287-short-drive-steering-review).
