# Default sRGB color pipeline (r330)

The WebGL viewer now decodes exported PNG color textures from sRGB to linear
before lighting and encodes the result back to sRGB for display. This is the
standard color interpretation for glTF base-color textures. The previous
linear upload/output path remains available for side-by-side comparison with
`?debugLinearTextures&debugLinearOutput`.

The change promotes the paired pipeline from the r326 fixed-view comparison.
In that comparison, sRGB sampling alone made the road substantially too dark;
paired texture decoding and output encoding preserved the source road markings
while restoring visible pavement texture and brighter city surfaces. The r330
live capture is from the packaged viewer after the status reported `City scene
ready`, with 22,508 nearby triangles, 128 textures, and 832 routes.

This corrects the WebGL color-space handling. It does not establish a pixel
match to a retail XP screenshot. The live capture still shows the unresolved
white 240SX paint fallback; traffic bodies also lack their retail paint
bindings.
