# Current retail-paint shader check, r468

The host Chrome WebGL2 viewer was opened at
`?carShader=retail-fallback&region=L4RA&car=240SX&route=450&distance=550&radius=120`
with an 800×600 viewport. After texture streaming finished, the loading cover
cleared and the status reached `Traffic preview ready` with 12 ambient body
models available. The page and console error list was empty.

The screenshot confirms the source-derived car shader path renders, but the
240SX body is darker and still does not show convincing city reflections. The
normal shader remains the default. This is consistent with the earlier
1280×720 comparison in [r415](car-harmonic-visual-comparison-r415.md); the
camera parameters differ, so this capture is a current build check, not a
same-frame A/B comparison.

- [Earlier same-camera A/B comparison](../webgl-city/review/images/556-r415-car-shader-default.png) and [retail-fallback capture](../webgl-city/review/images/557-r415-car-shader-retail-fallback.png)

No shader or material parameters were changed. Exact live paint selection,
texture binding and harmonic transform remain unavailable; the fallback stays
opt-in rather than replacing the normal drive view.
